Limelight Health, LLC., provides quoting and underwriting software solutions for the employee benefits industry. The company used a spreadsheet-based management system for professional service operations since its founding in 2014. The spreadsheet system was utilized for years, despite the business’s growth.

The current spreadsheet-based system was rigid and brittle and fraught with risk. Minor adjustments held the potential of making the system inoperable. Plus, reporting could be cumbersome and slow, inhibiting the company’s ability to make data-driven decisions at the speed of the business.

With a growing list of clients, the current PS management system was no longer viable. As a primarily remote-delivery company, Limelight Health began to look for a solution that could be accessed from anywhere and provided support for sophisticated administration and reporting options. Any new system should also provide standardized processes for common tasks like time tracking and approvals.

Solution

Their search for a solution led them to NetSuite’s OpenAir. Once the solution was selected, Limelight Health needed an implementation partner to get them up and running quickly. They also needed a partner who could understand their unique requirements and had deep subject matter expertise. NetSuite recommended Top Step.

Limelight Health was impressed with Top Step’s depth and breadth of knowledge about their new PSA. Top Step’s used their OpenAir Implementation program to review current business challenges and map to the company’s direction and “to-be” vision.  Top Step also reviewed Limelight Health’s PS business model starting with opportunity identification and continuing through project delivery and closeout to ensure the system was set up to meet their specific business needs and customizations.

Top Step delivered the implementation project quickly and under budget.
