As a result of the upcoming Oracle-NetSuite server conversion to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in early 2020, your OpenAir system may be impacted in the following ways:

  • OpenAir Integration Manager Shortcuts: These will no longer work correctly and will need to be re-configured to point to the new server address
  • OpenAir Integrations: These will also likely not work correctly due to the change in server address, but note that this does not apply to the standard OpenAir/NetSuite integration, which we expect to be unaffected
  • SAML Single Sign-On: This will likely not function correctly since the server move will require an identity provider re-configuration
  • Any Function Reliant on the OpenAir server URL: There are a number of other challenges that may arise based on the specifics of your OpenAir solution, and are difficult to predict without additional discussion

While Top Step believes this conversion will ultimately be positive for OpenAir users, it raises issues that need to be addressed in the near term to keep your OpenAir solution running at peak effectiveness. Top Step has developed tools and processes to address the potential issues and is offering a free 30-minute phone call to scope the effort.   To schedule your 30-minute call email Lindsay Mullinix.

We recently held a live webinar to discuss the upcoming change.  You can watch the recording here.
