Managing Filter Sets on Clients and Users in OpenAir

Primary filter sets set on user record limit what records a user has access to.

However, it is common to have the need to group clients and users in member filter sets to limit access to groups of users. This is very common in acquisitions, where a company acquires a company and they want to limit access to only the acquisition’s clients and users.

To accomplish this, a new filter set for the managers to share is needed. For this filter set to be available to be used as a member filter set, one client and one user needs to be set within the filter set.

Now the filter set can be set on the clients and users that need to be a member of the new filter set.

It is the same set up for clients.

If you don’t see the Filter set options on the forms try a fresh log in.

NewCo managers can now log in to OpenAir and only see the clients and users in their member filter set.
