How to View ETC and EAC within the OpenAir Project Center

ETC (estimate to complete) and EAC (estimate at complete) are very important metrics when evaluating the health of a project. Historically, these metrics were difficult to see if you are using bookings in OpenAir to plan the future hours. However, within the Project Center, you can now add ETC and EAC values to your view by enabling the “Actuals” option.

Toggling “Actuals” on in the Project Center view not only allows you instant viewing of ETC and EAC values, it also displays actual hours in previous weeks and bookings in future weeks. The ETC value is calculated using bookings from today’s date forward and EAC totals the actual time incurred to date plus future bookings.
