Saving Time by Copying Bookings in SuiteProjects Pro

Project templates can include bookings, which are automatically carried over when you create a new project from a template. This means your staffing setup travels with the template, giving you a head start on resourcing from day one.

Each booking on the new project is scheduled relative to the project start date, mirroring how the original bookings were positioned relative to the template’s start date. When paired with booking-driven project schedule calculation, this approach can significantly reduce the time spent staffing new projects in the Project Center.

To copy bookings when creating a new project from an existing project:

1. Click the Create button, then select Projects: Project, from another project….
   The New Project form opens.
2. Fill in all required fields.
3. Choose a project from the Duplicate phases and tasks from this project
4. Tick the Duplicate bookings
5. Complete any remaining fields as needed.
6. Click Save.
