Using Custom Fields in SuiteProjects Pro
One of the most common ways that users get more from their SuiteProjects Pro tool is by using custom fields to track information, calculation values, or enhance form usage.
Custom field values can be included in reporting, and dropdown fields can be used as report filters. This can be a great way to specify report output, but some changes to your NetSuite SuiteProjects Pro settings may be required.
Time Entry and Receipt Tabular Reports
Supported fields:
- User dropdown fields
- Project dropdown fields
Charge and Recognition Transaction Tabular Reports
To access this functionality, you will need to contact NetSuite Support and request the following internal switches be enabled:
- Enable project/user custom field filters in selected detail reports
- Project and user custom fields are available in Time entry and Receipt detail reports.
- Project custom fields are available in Charge and Revenue transaction detail reports.
