Prevent Mixup Between SuiteProjects Pro Production and Sandbox Instances
For those SuiteProjects Pro users and Admins who bounce back and forth between sandbox and production environments frequently or have both instances open on their PCs regularly, a quick tip to prevent mixup of which environment you are working in, is to use different logo images as an effective visual indicator to distinguish between the two. By default, the sandbox logo is set to whatever the production environment logo is, so you do have to take the manual step to upload a different logo into the sandbox environment but it’s a simple step to keep things clear.
To achieve this solution
- In your sandbox instance, navigate to Administration > Global Settings > Display > Logos: UI, documents
Here you can upload a different logo image that will serve as a visual indicator that you’re in the sandbox environment vs your production. Upload the file here and you are set to go. As an example:
