How to Setup Timesheet and Expense Line-Item Rejection Notifications in OpenAir
Timesheet rejection notifications are commonly used in OpenAir to notify users that an entire timesheet has been rejected. Out of the box, new instances of OpenAir are usually set up with this standard notification. However, for those using the timesheet/expense line-item rejection feature, a notification should be set up to trigger based on rejections of individual line items only and not just based on rejection of an entire timesheet.
You can set up line-item rejection notifications by going to Administration > Application Settings > Timesheet or Expense Settings:
Once these notifications are appropriately configured, rejection of individual timesheet or expense line items will trigger notifications to submitters. Line-item rejection notifications can also be used in conjunction with timesheet rejection notifications as needed.
