How to Reject Your Own OpenAir Timesheet to Make Corrections
In situations where an employee submits a timesheet prematurely and wants to make alterations, the existing process entails the entire timesheet being rejected by an approver before changes can be implemented. To streamline this procedure, OpenAir can be configured to allow users to personally reject their own timesheets. This eliminates the necessity for approvers to reject unnecessary and inaccurate timesheets.
Now, users possess the capability to reject their own timesheets as long as no approvals have been made. Once rejected, the timesheet will transition into a “Rejected” status, enabling the user to modify specific time entries and subsequently resubmit the timesheet for approval. The approval history associated with the rejected timesheet will indicate that the owner has rejected it, accompanied by any provided explanation.
To enable this feature, send a request to OpenAir Support asking them to enable the switch “Allow users to reject their own timesheets if no approvals have occurred”.
